Excellent cottages: clean and with everything you need inside, plus a view that will leave you speechless! Highly recommended - especially since they are located within walking distance of most restaurants in Rocky Harbour and not far from great hiking trails.

Me and my three sons stayed at Meeting Hill the past four nights. The room was very clean and well appointed. The owner is very nice and took the time to answer all my questions. Great spot to stay while exploring the Northern Peninsula or Western Newfoundland.

We stayed in a two-bedroomed cottage and it was the best accommodation on our Newfoundland trip. A wonderful welcome, very comfortable beds, clean and so well-equipped for our stay. Great views across the harbour and very quiet. Thanks to Marilyn and Stan for their warm hospitality. We'd stay again in a heartbeat!

We stayed in the honeymoon cottage and had an amazing time! Everything we needed was there, a full kitchen, jacuzzi tub and deck to BBQ and watch the sunset. Will recommend for sure and if ever back in Rocky Harbour this is where we would stay!

Spend 2 weeks at Rocky Harbour and Gros Morne for our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a better home away from home. Got a honeymoon suite (cottage) with a jacuzzi, a BBQ, full kitchenette, TV with satellite and Wifi. Marilyn and her husband Stan were wonderfully kind, helpful and responsive to any inquiry or request. Would love to come back and would highly recommend to anyone who would visit.

We spent 5 nights in a 2 BR "cottage" (it was actually a unit in a 4-unit complex) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was spotless and very well equipped for cooking your own meals should you tire of eating out (which we did) or just want to eat healthy. We also managed to use the BBQ to grill some steaks. Make sure you get your groceries elsewhere (e.g. Deer Lake - 45 mins away) as you will not be able to find such locally in Rocky Harbour. Marilyn was friendly, welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay.

We looked at a lot of places online before lucking out and renting a two-bedroom cottage here in early September. When we got to Rocky Harbour, we realized Meeting Hill is in a far superior location to most of the others cottages and inns in town, right on the water with an unobstructed and stunning view of the ocean and the rugged cliffs down the coast. The front decks have BBQs and provide the perfect spot to enjoy a post-hike dinner or cocktail as you watch the sun set over Lobster Head Cove. Not only that, but the cottages were absolutely spotless and amazingly neat and tidy, like no one had ever stayed in them before.

Rocky Harbour is so central to everything, as well ... it's not far up the coast to Western Brook Pond, or down the road to Gros Morne Mountain. Norris Point is also pretty close.

The women in the Meeting Hill front office, Marilyn and her lovely daughter, were so helpful, accommodating, friendly, and -- like all Newfoundlanders -- charming and funny. (I would also like to hire Marilyn to come organize my cupboards since she has supreme talents in that regard). We are definitely returning next summer and have already told several friends to book here; it's the best!

Great place right on the water. It is central located in Rocky Harbour and near numerous spectacular hikes in Gros Morne National Park. The Western Brook pond boat tour shouldn't be missed. Marilyn was helpful and couldn't have been nicer. The cottage was quiet and well maintained with very comfortable beds.
